Wild At Heart

Wild at Heart is a book written by John Eldredge. John has made a DVD teaching series based on the book. It is a journey of the heart. The journey is about the recovery of the masculine heart, as defined in the image of a passionate God.

The material I have posted here is free to copy. I have made my own DVD called ‘Adventure to Live Down under’ based on John’s literature and DVD teaching series. It is not meant to replace John’s great teaching at all. It is simply an Aussie take on the message. Every culture has its own way of expressing and understanding the same message.

Wild at Heart’s three-fold purpose.

  1. The main aim of Wild at Heart is for you to recognise where you are now and what you need to do to ‘recover your heart’.
  2. The next aim is to help you find your place and role in the battle. What battle you may ask? The Kingdom of God is about power and authority. It is a power struggle between light and dark, good and evil. It is about the restoration of ALL things. This is the battle we are all engaged in whether we like it or not. Every man has a calling on his life and a destiny to fulfil. We all should have a calling that goes way beyond the ordinary and is part of the big picture of the Kingdom of God
  3. We need to be equipped and taught how to fight effectively. What battles to fight in and those not to fight in.
  4. We all need a Band of Brothers.
